The ix6 is a long range dual reader system for HID and EM cards offering the longest HID read range anywhere, including HIDs own long range Indala readers. Read ranges of up to 80cm for HID cards and 100cm for EM cards are possible. Note, not available in Asia. The iX6 dual system reader offers the longest read range for HID cards currently available with read ranges up to 80cm. Other manufactures only offer read ranges up to 65cm but the iX5 uses several layers of advanced DSP processing to boost the range close to the theoretical limit, namely the point where the legal field strength fails to excite the card. The iX5 uses smart DSP technology not expensive hardware. Not only is it the longest read-range in-class HID format cards reader, it is also a dual system simultaneously reading standard EM4001/4100 format cards. The EM range is not bad either, with a highly respectable read-range of up to100cm. The iX6 is an ideal way to combine EM and HID systems or seamlessly phase out one in favor of the other.
